Anubis Gate cancelled at ProgPower Scandinavia!

The reasons to this is that Anubis Gate is no longer under the management - Intromental - that has been representing the band since the start. And as Intromental was one of the main promoters of this festival, they didn't want a band performing that was no longer under their roster.

First concert in 3 years confirmed ...

The first show for Anubis Gate in their current line-up (first show in 3 years!!!) has been announced - the band will participate in the ProgPower Scandinavia Festival, taking place at The Rock in Copenhagen, Denmark on October 31st and November 01st 2008. Anubis Gate will play Friday Oct 31 in the evening ... be there!!!!

Behind the veil ...

For all you hardcore Anubis Gate fans out there we have some real goodies:

1) we've decided to upload some samples of Jacob singing some of the songs from "A Perfect Forever". This is your exclusive chance to hear the try-out demo's that Jacob did when he was applying for the vacant position as vocalist in the band when Torben quit. Remember: these are rough demo's, but we're sure that you all can hear why we chose Jacob :-) Check out the 2 samples in the media-player in the MEDIA section.

Anubis Gate wins "grammy" ...

Anubis Gate were honored at the Danish Metal Awards 2007, which was held Saturday November 17th at Amager Bio in Copenhagen, Denmark, with the trophee for best artwork of the year.

Nominated for "grammy" ...

Anubis Gate has been nominated for a grammy in three different categories in the Danish Metal Awards: best production, best cover and best album.

On November 17th the award show will be held in Amager Bio in Copenhagen. Let's hope for AG to win at least one of the awards :-)

Release date ...

The European release date for ANUBIS GATE's "Andromeda Unchained" will be July 16th 2007. The US release date will follow a month after on August 14th 2007.

Welcome to the new site ...

Hello everyone! Finally we have a new homepage in place. As you can see the old site got a much needed facelift, and we've added all the information on the upcoming 3rd Anubis Gate release, "Andromeda Unchained". The release will be sometime during the summer, once again through Locomotive Music.

In the discography section you can check out the cover artwork, and see the songtitles and recording credits for the album.

In the media section you can listen to one full song, "The Final Overture", from the new album as well as a 7-minute long medley of tunes from the upcoming disc. There's of course also a few songs from the first two albums to be found there.

In the gallery section we also have some new bandpictures available.

Don't forget to visit our webforum and join in the talk with the band and other fans :-)
